Gary A. Wagner graduated from Chaminade High School, Mineola, New York and there after graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. Degree from Manhattan College. He received his Juris Doctorate, Cum Laude, from The John Marshall School of Law in Chicago. Thereafter, Mr. Wagner became an Assistant States' Attorney, State of Illinois, in the Cook County office (Chicago). He returned to Long Island in the early 1980s and established this firm in 1986. Mr. Wagner has extensive trial experience over his more than 35-year legal career including defending personal injury clients involving general liability cases involving Labor Law, Products Liability, Libel / Slander, Auto, Premises & General Liability cases involving complex medical issues including Traumatic Brain Injury and CRPS / RSD, and in the field of medical malpractice has successfully defended both physicians and hospitals in various areas of specialty. Mr. Wagner has been an Arbitrator for the United States District Court, Eastern District of New York. Mr. Wagner serves on the Defendant's Personal Injury Committee, Hospital & Health Law Committee, Insurance Law Committee, Medical-Legal Committee and Supreme Court Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association. Mr. Wagner also is a member of the American Bar Association, NYS Bar Association (Insurance Compensation and Negligence Law Committees) as well as the Nassau / Suffolk Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Wagner has lectured to various insurance carries over the years involving various topics such as "Bad faith" and Labor Law Sections "240" and defenses. Mr. Wagner has been named one of the top-rated medical malpractice attorneys by Super Lawyers Magazine. He has been selected to the New York Metropolitan Super Lawyers list for multiple years for medical malpractice defense and has also been rated by Martindale-Hubbell as an AV Preeminent Attorney.
