Leland Garbus graduated Magna Cum Laude from New York University and is both a University Honors Scholar and Member of the Phi Betta Kappa Honor Society. He earned his Juris Doctor Degree in 1981 from Cornell University Law School and was a recipient of the Lewis Kaiser Award for Brief Writing.

Mr. Garbus is admitted to practice in the State of New York and has over forty years of experience as a litigator, specializing in medical, dental, podiatric and hospital malpractice, as well as general negligence and products liability. Clients have included physicians, dentists, podiatrists, group medical practices, medical centers, and corporations. He has a proven track record, including success in Motion Practice and Appeals and having secured a high number of dismissals via Summary Judgment and favorable outcomes on appeal. He is accomplished in all phases of litigation including, trial, case evaluation and strategy development, depositions, analysis of medical records and navigation and mediation of claims.
