David B. De Siver graduated with Dean's List recognition from the State University of New York at Albany. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School in 1993. After working for several years as a partner in the firm of Rogak, Gibbons and De Siver, LLP, Mr. De Siver is now Of Counsel at Wagner, Doman, Leto & Di Leo, P.C.
With over 25 years of experience in defending medical malpractice claims, Mr. De Siver continues to enjoy successfully representing the interests of physicians, medical groups and specialists. Additionally, he is proficient in handling matters arising from dental and podiatric care.
Mr. De Siver is admitted to practice in the State of New York, and serves on the Medical-Legal Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association. He has also served as a mediator on multiple occasions, at the request of the New York State Supreme Court, Nassau County.
He has prepared briefs and argued before the Appellate Division. Mr. De Siver has been quoted in the New York Law Journal, after obtaining a favorable decision from the Appellate Court which was widely recognized as making significant new law on issues related to the use of experts for summary judgment purposes.
Mr. De Siver has lectured at the Nassau County Bar Association on various topics including the scope of expert disclosures in medical malpractice cases, and the timing of objections. Also, his writings and comments concerning several constitutional and legal issues have appeared in specialty legal newspapers and scholarly publications.
